Thanks

I am thankful for:

1. My brother because he makes me laugh and without him I wouldn't understand guys.
2. My mom because she's weird and makes my life easier.
3. My dad because we can joke around and make fun of each other.
4. Mackenzi because there is never a dull moment when I am with her.
5. Maday because she has put up with me for over five years and still calls me her sister.
6. Kenji because he makes me happy in every little way.
7. My dog because he wags his tail no matter whats happening.
8. My cousins, Deryck and Kyle, because they drive me crazy and still say I love you.
9. My school because its helping me get further in life with a good education.
10. The dorm because if there wasn't a dorm I wouldn't be able to attend HVA.
11. Books because I love to read.
12. The looks God gave me because although I'm not perfect I'm content.
13. God because without him there would be nothing.
14. Other friends and family not previously mentioned.
15. Food because all of it is just so yummy.. especially french fries =]
16. Electronics because life would be more difficult without them.

and to sum it all up I am thankful for EVERYTHING =] there isn't one thing wrong with my life. Like I said I am content, and happy, and that's all that matters =]

Homework

My roommate is Jessica Gavin. She is about the best roommate ever! She doesnt complain about anything and she's very clean so we never have to worry about room check. The only problem really is me. Jess is a junior so she always has plenty of homework to keep her busy, me on the other hand barely have any homework. So when it comes around to study hall Mackenzi, Makhela and I are usually just playing around, screaming, or laughing our butts off. They always come in my room and we talk forever about everything, Jess would be lucky if she could even hear herself think sometimes. I've even noticed that sometimes she has to go out in the hall to read or something and I always feel terrible about it. I would kick Shiny (Kenzi) and Makhela out and sometimes I do, but they really like being in my room and we always have a lot of fun. We even occaisionally actually do our homework. Like last night Makhela and I read bible out loud to Mackenzi switching off every two paragraphs. This is not a plee for more homework it's just that I have realized that we dont have much homework and I appreciate that. Now Jess on the other hand may want the teachers to give us more homework, but we always have next year and the years after that to actually use our study hall time wisely.=]

renweb

This is my first year ever dealing with renweb. I have always gone to public school so they didnt use the renweb system and so I'm not use to looking at my grades online. I have to say that it is very helpful and easy. It helps to be able to look at your grades whenever you please. I have not really been using renweb to its full extent, but I do plan on doing so. I have made a sort of 'resolution' to look at renweb every two days to keep up with my grades and any homework I may not know about. This resolution starts today! =]

Work

As many of you know, I work for Mr. V and despite what he might think I love my job. It's a lot of fun and he's the best boss (just don't tell him that). I usually just grade papers, put them on renweb and put them away. It's pretty simple actually plus he feeds me so it helps me work harder *cough* *cough*. Even though I complain and make fun of Mr. V a lot I wouldn't want to work anywhere else =]. I'm very content with my job, he takes Kenji and I out to eat sometimes and is super nice to us. There is never a dull moment when I'm working (specially when Kenzi or Dani are in there =]), my work partner is great =] and I still get payed. It's the best kind of work there is.

Win- Win

Well, the past weekend Kenzi, Dan, Kenji and I all wanted to go out. We already said that we would go out on Sunday to the mall and then to Mrs. Tydings house to watch "Disturbia", but the only problem was that Mrs. West said that we had to be back at 7:30pm for worship. There was no way we were coming back that early when we were only leaving at 3:30 in the afternoon and we wanted to be with them longer than that. So we made a deal with Mrs. West, we would go out an hour earlier, like at 2:30pm, if she would let us stay out until 8:30pm and come back for study hall. It ended up working out, we were all happy. We got to spend more time with them and we were still back in time for study hall and chores.
Yay =]

p.s. We had a great time *wink* *wink*.

Kenny's Sister

That is a term I have heard all my life! It was like people thought that was my name, I wasn't Karen I was Kenny's sister. The worst part of it was the high expectations and impression of who I was to be. For those of you who don't know my brother he's practically perfect, straight A's, favorite child, favorite student, loved by ALL! It's torture going through life knowing you can never be that good ... so why try? =] and that is why I am the way I am. It's because I decided to stop try and be better than my brother and just be myself. So if you think I'm perfect .. you should really meet my brother, Kenny Tejeda. That is why I'm rebellious and so out spoken, it's because Kenny isn't rebellious and he's quiet and I wouldn't be able to stand being that way, it's just not me. On the first day of 6th grade my science teacher practically fell out of her chair when she found out that I was Kenny's sister because he was her favorite and she just absolutely loved him.. that day forward I swore I would be the loudest and most talkative person in the class.. and I was. =] Now, thank the Lord, I don't have to go through that because my brother never went to HVA, now I can start my own life as Karen Lilia Tejeda.
