Final Blog

This will be my final blog ..*tear*. I don't think I'll remember to write on this blog again, but I know that I'm not going to delete it. It's a reminder of a couple of things that happened this year and its also a reminder of the goals I set for myself. Maybe throughout high school I'll log back on to blogger.com (if I remember my password) and I will see what I have accomplished. For now though, I have been pretty successful in reaching my goal. My grades are good. As well as my social life, but I could do better in the physical area (sports wise).
I both did and didn't like blogging for various reasons. I liked it because every time I would log on I would see my mission statement and it would be my reminder. My favorite blogs to do were the one where we had to list what our future husband/wife would be like and the list of what we're thankful for. Not only did I like actually doing that assignment, but I also liked looking at what others wrote as well. Basically the only thing I didn't like about blogging was the fact that we had to do two of them everyday and it would take me forever to think of something to write about. Otherwise I didn't think blogging was that bad. =] Bye Mrs. Payne!

Learning Style

We took a quiz today to see what learning style fits us. My results are as follows:

social: 18

aural: 16

verbal: 16

logical: 15

visual: 15

physical: 10

Solitary: 10

I wasn't that surprised by my results. I knew social and verbal would be one of my highest, I just expected that my logical one would be higher. I'm not surprised at all by the solitary learning style being one of my lowest, I'm not really the type of person who loves hanging out with myself and being anti social. So I can understand that.
I liked taking this quiz, its interesting to see how many different learning styles one person could have. I never knew aural and solitary were learning styles.

Kenny's birthday

Kenny is my brother and his birthday is on friday, December the 5th. He is turning 16, I still cant imagine that, it just seems like such a big number. He's 13 months older then me so when my birthday turns up it never seems like I got any older because Kenny was already that age. I dont really mind being the youngest despite how much I complain. Anyway his birthday party is on Saturday, so I'm going home for the weekend (MAYBE with Kenzi =]). There are going to be 10 guys there who are spending the night and going to ESPN Zone and me. Me and 10 other guys, but no worries I'm use to being around tons of guys 'since I'm practically the only girl cousin. I know them all and I love them... their hilarious and so much fun to be around. Even if Kenzi cant go (WHICH SHE BETTER =]) I know I will still have fun. So wish me luck because all though I love them their still really annoying =].

Home Leave

You know home leave is suppose to be a break from school to rest and just relax, but that never happens. Granted I get to sleep in, which is nice, but I never actually go to bed at a reasonable time. I'm always either watching TV, watching a movie or talking on the phone until 4a.m. I also never get to relax. My parents are always taking me to other peoples house to go and visit, while all I want to do is stay at home and waste time. I already told my parents that when I go home all I want to do is sleep, watch TV and movies, download music and do absolutely nothing important. I think they finally understand this, so I'm actually looking forward to the next home leave. -and I might even do some homework ... occasionally- =]

  6. Kenji because he makes me happy in every little way.
  7. My dog because he wags his tail no matter whats happening.
  8. My cousins, Deryck and Kyle, because they drive me crazy and still say I love you.
  9. My school because its helping me get further in life with a good education.
  10. The dorm because if there wasn't a dorm I wouldn't be able to attend HVA.
  11. Books because I love to read.
  12. The looks God gave me because although I'm not perfect I'm content.
  13. God because without him there would be nothing.
  14. Other friends and family not previously mentioned.
  15. Food because all of it is just so yummy.. especially french fries =]
  16. Electronics because life would be more difficult without them.

and to sum it all up I am thankful for EVERYTHING =] there isn't one thing wrong with my life. Like I said I am content, and happy, and that's all that matters =]

Homework

My roommate is Jessica Gavin. She is about the best roommate ever! She doesnt complain about anything and she's very clean so we never have to worry about room check. The only problem really is me. Jess is a junior so she always has plenty of homework to keep her busy, me on the other hand barely have any homework. So when it comes around to study hall Mackenzi, Makhela and I are usually just playing around, screaming, or laughing our butts off. They always come in my room and we talk forever about everything, Jess would be lucky if she could even hear herself think sometimes. I've even noticed that sometimes she has to go out in the hall to read or something and I always feel terrible about it. I would kick Shiny (Kenzi) and Makhela out and sometimes I do, but they really like being in my room and we always have a lot of fun. We even occaisionally actually do our homework. Like last night Makhela and I read bible out loud to Mackenzi switching off every two paragraphs. This is not a plee for more homework it's just that I have realized that we dont have much homework and I appreciate that. Now Jess on the other hand may want the teachers to give us more homework, but we always have next year and the years after that to actually use our study hall time wisely.=]

renweb

This is my first year ever dealing with renweb. I have always gone to public school so they didnt use the renweb system and so I'm not use to looking at my grades online. I have to say that it is very helpful and easy. It helps to be able to look at your grades whenever you please. I have not really been using renweb to its full extent, but I do plan on doing so. I have made a sort of 'resolution' to look at renweb every two days to keep up with my grades and any homework I may not know about. This resolution starts today! =]
